Kaiju Kite Attack

Fly a kite. Fight giant kaiju. Save your Meemaw, and the universe.

Fly or die

The kaiju are coming to town to burn it down, and all you've got is a kite. Steer it through the sky and fire it at monsters the size of buildings, while you hop across platforms below that are generated fresh every run. Protect your kite, and it may save your feeble life.

It's a shoot 'em up and a platformer at the same time: a strange mix of Super Mario Bros., Mega Man 2 and a dash of Cho Aniki, drawn like your old Atari and dusty NES were crossing wires out in the garage. It also has a chiptune soundtrack, a story about avenging your Meemaw and finding your inner Nino, and a few secrets for anyone who saves the universe.

  • Non-stop kite-flying, kaiju-fighting, side-scrolling action
  • Kite physics engineered to simulate a real-life kite-flying kaiju attack
  • Procedurally generated platforms, ripped from the grip of chaos
  • Six worlds (it says “unending” on the box; it's six)
  • An original 8-bit chiptune soundtrack
  • Secret high-flying action, if you save the universe

Six worlds

World 1: a city skyline behind a row of burning trees.
